Coach Approach began in June 2013. After a stint of unemployment we began with sports parties, and soon developed into after school sports, sports classes, Summer camps, and soon into the fitness industry with our couch to 5km, keep jogging and fitness programs.

Founder: Lee Moroney

Lee Moroney has been coaching for 20 years – Lee has extensive experience in coaching, tutoring and player development from GAA Coaching on a voluntary basis in his local club St. Anne’s GAA Club, Bohernabreena. He has also been involved in coaching and managing Dublin underage boys and girls teams in Gaelic Football.

Lee has worked with children and young people through the medium of sports and youth programs from Ohio in the USA to running after school programs in Sydney Australia. He has also been a full time club coach working with 600 pupils a week in local primary schools as as well as an 18 month stint in 2005 as Development co-ordinator for Dublin Community Games in West Tallaght and North Clondalkin, engaging over 3,000 children through sports and games.

In 2014 Coach Approach won Business of the year at the Tallaght Person of the year awards and in 2019 Lee won the overall Tallaght Person of the year for his years of service to his local community of Ballycragh and wider community of Tallaght.

Lee believes coaching is primarily about helping people and that is what Coach Approach sets about to do in all the services it provides from jogging, exercise groups, working with children with additional needs to our after school service.
